Here's a close up of one of the crane bases on the mole after Zeebrügge was abandoned.  Note the ID plate on the upper base leg.  In French it identifies the crane number at the top and KGs on the third line, but can anyone make out the center line ? Â
As information, I've built a model of the crane and want to replicate the plaque.
I do this all the time, deciphering stuff in photos. But reading things generally requires a recognition of English letter patterns and the shapes of familiar words. And because I can't read French, its impossible for me to "see" it.
Sometimes a negative reveals more details. Maybe it will help some spot something?
Could this be a manufacturer name (for the crane)? Why not start there?...see if there is a company name that might match what you see in the photo.
Could the first letter be a D or a B? (at first, i thought it said Buick! LOL)
Any possibility of a larger photo? or higher resolution?
