I am planning on having a go at building a full scale replica FT tank and I am in the process of gathering measurements. I have a Takom 1/16 scale FT which I can work from but was wondering how much the model would be out from an original FT and how much would I expect the sizes to differ which could affect assembly from model to original or was there a bit of variation between original FT tank so I could get away with being a couple of mms out, as I am sure there may be a bit of error when I multiply 1/16 x 16. Trouble is I need an original to see how far my calculations are. Does any one have some original measurements of say a side panel, track wheel etc. I can check to to start off with.
