MK V* marking in French Army.

Hello dear all,

I have a question regarding marking on the front of the MKV* in the French army. I suspect that on the 9907 is the colors of the French flag – Blue, white and red. However, it is not clear for me for 10003. It is just white stripe or also flag.

I want to build the 10003 model that is why I am asking.

Thanks in advance.

#10003 looks to me to have been a range target not an operational loss. I don't think the French actually got the Mark V and V*s into action by the

Armistice although they were in training with them.

The photo of 9907 was taken in the USA

Painting non horn is probably red and white, though might be red, white, and blue—there are ,some suggestions that Mark V and V*s that were sent to the USA were repainted in those colors.

Thanks for the info. It means I were mistaken. Al the others pictures of the MKV* located in the France I found were in the original British marking white –red and white stripes or just without them. By the way – are the list of the MKV and V* transferred to French army exist?
