I'm a journalist researching the involvement of British tanks in 1919 action at Tsaritsyn (later Stalingrad, now Volgograd), particularly a detachment of Mark Vs and Whippets commanded by Major Ewen Bruce. I'd be grateful for any information or guidance.
I was talking to a model-making friend the other day about armour on the Russian side at the start of the German attack. He sent me the attached photo from (I think) an eBay auction which I share for discussion only. Not sure what the main armament is but thought it might interest somebody.
Mark V in Estonian service, 1941. Weapon is Soviet 45mm anti-tank gun.
