I'm doing some drgs of the FV 4005 Stage II in 1/35 and am looking for the paper we used when I was in consulting engineering around the time the pyramids were built.
Butcher paper is fine for non-detail work, but I can't find the correct paper her in South Africa.
All the students draw on a plastic film which means that the ink is constantly smudging and Benzine doesn't work to well on getting the pencil lines off and also removes some of the ink!
Surely somewhere like Outer Mongolia still uses the proper paper?
I started my engineering career with Rolls Royce (aircraft engines) back in 1979, I spent some time in the drawing office, they used vellum for all of their drafting
It is really nice to work with for both pencil and ink

When we used plastic film, before CAD, we used plastic leads in our pencils. I used to use a blue pencil for construction lines, lightly, because they didn’t show when printing.
