28cm SK Bruno in Paris 1918

Attached is one of a couple of images of a captured 28cm SK L/40 Bruno railway gun displayed in Paris in late 1918.

If someone knows Paris fairly well where was the gun displayed? The image is from the National War Memorial Museum image collection.

Regards,

Charlie

Thank you.

For people who might be interested but don't understand French...

The railway gun was displayed at the Gare Champ du Mars (now demolished). This was on the corner of Avenue de Suffren

and Quai Branly just west of the Eiffel Tower. The building in the background of the 1918 image is still there.

Regards,

Charlie

And unfortunately only the barrel and roof of the gun survive in Canberra
