RNAS armed B-Type Lorry with 3 Pdr - Colour?

I have purchased the MiniArt B-Type Lorry and the Resicast QF 3 Pdr gun and I am trying to figure out the vehicle colour of this singular RNAS armed lorry.  Would I be wrong in assuming it was a dark RN grey?  The 3 Pdr gun appears to be a light grey.

This observation is based on the contrast between the RN uniform with the vehicle and the gun.  Any help or comments would be appreciated.

I too have purchased the lorry & 3 per gun. With no comments returned what colour scheme did you finally decide on.

I chose to do the truck in shades of grey and the naval gun in a darker navy grey.  Honestly it was a guess and nobody was able to help, so best guess only.

Please see below I took some rather bad photos of the build and final creature.  The best of luck on your model and I would be happy to see the finished product.

I have a quote from an unknown Landships author with the following:

"Armoured cars used by the Royal Naval Air Service in 1914-15 were generally finished in a light or medium shade of naval grey. An exception was the Royal Marine Artillery Anti-Aircraft Brigades Pierce-Arrow armoured cars (with 2pdr. pom-pom AA guns) supplied in 1915; these were painted Daimler khaki-green, in accordance with Admiralty specifications."

You might check the archives for more info.
