This page has information on Polish armor 1918-1939. Armored trains, tankettes, armored cars, etc. Of especial interest for me was the Self Propelled Guns in the Tankette section. This section involves SPGs based on the Carden-Loyd Mk.VI chassis, with lots of pictures I have never seen before. Click most images for an even larger view!

And now in reference to images in those links...

In this image two Carden-Loyd Mk.VIs are sporting names. The first is "Macedonia", and the second is "Marne". What an odd practice, naming vehicles after far away places!

In these two images there are some Vickers tanks, aswell as some Carden-Loyds. However, these sport some sort of awning or raised plate midway down, it's quite noticable. What do you think that is... ? I've never seen that before on a CL.

Here we see a Carden-Loyd towing its typical crew-carrier, also towing some sort of gun. What gun is that? I believe I have seen a picture of a Swedish CL with the same gun. If it is a recoiless rifle, then what is that large block that looks like a magazine?

Edit: Now that I'm looking for it, I noticed a similar "awning" on a CL in another picture. It seems too small to be an awning... I still can't figure out what it is.
