Good day? my friends. My voyage is complete now. I'm very glad to see you again/ In one russian book about civil war I found the machine-gun, which is unknown for me. In transliteration it names as "LEH" (or may be LEKH ) system. Anybody knows about this machine-gun.
No any pictures or drawings. Only information, that troop of Colonel Chernetsov takes from reds some weapon including two Leh (Лех) MG. This book has many mistakes, and I'm not sure that no mistakes in MG name.
I don't speak Russian or any of the related languages but I have a number of books in Polish in which the word "lekhy" or "lehky" is used to mean light. As an example, "lehky czolg" for "light tank". Could the word "leh" be simply an abreviation, refering to light machine guns?
I am from Czech republic and our language is similar to Russian and I don't know what could LEH be in connection with machine guns (machine gun is "kulomet" in czech.. btw), because "light" in russian is "лёгкий" (my dictionary says)
I only speak English and a bit of Spanish but according to the Russian translator the Russian word for "Light" is and the word didn't even show up. Me and Bodlosh probably have two different meanings for "light". But may guess could be slang (Americas use alot of slang in the creation of their weapons), part of someone's name or who knows!
Sorry for some reason the russian words I pasted in did not show up on the previous post. But The word I had for light was CBat or something of that nature. And "LEH" didn't even show up. That should just about fix my previous post
