Two conversations overheard at the IWM, London.
A couple looking at the Mk V
Her: "That's a funny looking Tank. What kind is that?"
Him: "It's an amphibious one."
Mother and child looking at the WW1 exhibit of a carrier pigeon wrapped in a little strait-jacket with parachute attached, for dropping to troops in forward positions.
Child: "What's that for, mummy?"
Mother: "It's so the pigeon could fly without showing up on the radar."
