Hi All, ebay.de usually has a large number of original WW1 tank pics this is intended to aid those looking for pictures but who have a limited or non existed knowledge of the german language, below you will find the 2 most succesfull search options that I have found....
you can either log in to ebay.de or copy the item number and paste it into the ebay site of your choice....
the format of ebay.de is much the same as other ebay sites and should'nt prove to be a problem with practice and a bit of cross-referencing....
you might also try "1.wk" "1wk" "ww1" "wwi" "wki" "wk1" "erste weltkriege" these should give you hits in the hundreds usually WW1 related such as helmet photos webbing boots etc...
My usual approach is to log in to eBay UK, and choose the advanced search options. You can then select "Worldwide" and cover all the bases at once. I usually try "panzer foto" (amongst others) and scan likely sounding descriptions. Apart from those like 1.WK mentioned above, also looking for "englischer panzer" helps.
I have found some extremely unusual and rare photos on eBay this way. Last week there was an excellent photo of the rear of a 1929 Krupp Grosstracktor prototype for sale. The last price I saw was 101 euro - well outside my price range.
