Historical Gaming of WW1
Permalink

I'm new to the group, and found it while trying to do some research for my historical gaming.  I didnt see mention of this area, so thought I would ask how many gamers there are here.  I am working on the Mesopotamian Theatre in 15mm with Piquet's Point of Attack: Barrage rules; skirmish gaming in France in 28mm with Iron Ivan's Price of Glory rules; and air combat with 1/72 scale models with Canvas Eagles, Blue Max, and Jump Or Burn rules.

Thanks.

Tom,
I have been working with others in creating a supplement to the FOW rules for WW1. We have done work in all theaters and it is coming along nicely.

The yahoo group is FOW1918.

Thanks.  I'll have to check that out.  The local game store had Minifigs WW1 stuff at 75% off so I stocked up as much as they had at the time.  I found a local gamer who was may be part of that group, as he was talking about usning his British Mk IV tank with an FoW-like game.

I have done some 15mm and 20mm WW1 gaming as well. I've done some house rules for skirmish games on the Eastern Frpnt, allowing HÄT austrains and Russians to battle it out in a table-top Galizia.
