Hi! I hope it will not be too modern on landship... Waiting for missing parts on my WW1 prime mover, I go to another of my favourite subjects, the tiznaos, or the home made armoured trucks of the Spanish civil war : I convert this one from a Ford AA (Toko GAZ in fact) to depict a very crude design from the very first days of the war.
The main painting challenge is to depict the basic boiler plates used to armor the truck as most of those early tiznaos seems remain unpainted except for the usual political or syndicalist markings.
The work is "in progress", the cab will be satin black but is not yet varnished, the marking are missing and there will be a lot of dust.
Absolutely awesome and veeery inspiring work!!! I'm really looking forward to see it finished, do you already have ideas for your next project? (I know I am too nosy )
Eduardo Mamoretti from Argentina : Most sincere congratulations. Excelent chose of subject, wonderfully execution of scratchbuilt parts, superb painting! Bravo colega!!! Eduardo
