Horse-drawn Wagons.

These are made by Wespe Models. They look as if they might be Wild West/Goldrush vintage, but the the left-hand one looks not unlike some ambulances I've seen in early pics of Flanders, etc.

Might be handy, and not too expensive.

Well, well. These appear to be 1/72 copies of Italeri 1/35 wagons, therefore suitable for WWI & II.

Esci made the original "Horse Drawn Convoy" complete with a set of 12 figures at rest. I think Italeri dropped the excess figures when they took over the moulds. The figures were WW2 but had some good poses ripe for conversion.

Ah. Well they look very nice in 1/72. I don't know if the Wespe ones are legit.

Here are some pics of the ambulance, or something v like it, in Belgian service.
