Hey guys,
In perusing the internet I've found a pair of books of interest to ourselves, one on both the Schneider and St. Chamond tanks, and the other a monography covering the T-Gewehr anti-tank rifle!

First, AJ Press of Poland is releasing a book entitled "Schneider CA, St. Chamond" from their TankPower/GunPower series, which means it'll be chock full of photographs and drawings.  It's bilingual, with English running in a dual column side-by-side with Polish.

If it even approaches the quality of their "Japanese Armor" series, then it ought to be pretty awesome.  I can't wait till it shows up in the U.S.!

And then there's "Das Tankgeweher Mauser 1918", from a small German publisher: Buchverlag Delphine Kern, which means it probably won't be widely available (or in English), but is pretty exciting all the same.

I feel like I should mention, as well, that I'm not connected to either of these publishers in any way, lest I should be accused of "boosterism" ashamed

That being said, I still can't wait for the Schneider/St. Chamond book, though...

I received the AJ-Press book last week from Jadar. I spent the weekend reading. Very interesting stuff. Also includes new photos (to me at least) of a very good quality. The English text even opened up for new info from some of my older books on French tanks (they are in French and as my command of that language is limited, I need some English 'lead in' to understand them). This book certainly provides that info.

Good book and one that has fueled my ambition to scratch a Schneider in 1:35.
