Stunningly, what can be archieved with photoshop! Here the same vehicle (btw. it is No 540) on a plain field near Wasnes-au-Bac, where it was abandoned in October 1918.

I have no doubt that this is a fake! For example look at the track link on the top. It seems to be glued onto the vehicle. Otherwise it would have fallen off, when the tank slipped into the trench. Compare the two photos! Everything, position of the gun, porthole, door etc remained in the same position!

..interesting,... however, there remains a troubling visual issue; the vehicle lodged in the trench system has the running gear missing. One can not detect so much as a boggie wheel that should be exposed. You will note the ground & debris can be seen under the side armour where the running gear should be visible. The photo shopping was just a tad extreme!
