I am in the process of converting a 1/35 Tauro A7V to the prototype Flakpanzer as seen in the Osprey publication "German Panzers 1914 - 1918" by Steven Zaloga.
Whilst the photo's in the book have been a fantastic help I am looking for some more detailed shots of the centre cupola - radiators, drivers position, seats etc, as well as anything else that you might deem to be useful.
The running gear is all but complete - just needs a few tweaks and a bucket load of rivetts and now I am working on the upper half.
The guns? - now that's a whole new kettle of fish!
Hi Greg, Couple of bits of info that might be of help. For the engine area try GERMAN TANKS IN WW1, THE A7V & EARLY TANK DEVELOPMENT. by Wolfgang Schneider & Rainer Strasheim, as for the AA guns the gun used by the russian Russo Balt T. AA truck, which is made by PANZERSHOP in 1/35th is close, with a bit of modifying it could be made to look the same. The only thing is that the kit only comes with one gun!!!!.
PS. Am thinking of doing the same unit, have got all the bits but not yet started!, How about putting some pic's up of the work already done, so I can see what I need to do on the undercarriage!!!!!!.
