W^D Models are very close to releasing their 1/72 Dennis 3 Ton Truck; the 'A Class' or 'Subsidy' truck. Pictures are attached below. The kit will be very slightly different from the pictures because it will be supplied with a PE fret for the small parts such as the rear mudguards, number plates, tilt straps and steps etc.

W^D Models have also recently added many more pictures to their website:

As Peter Kempf says, these are some of the best figures you can get in 1/72.

For a look at a real life, surviving, 1918 Dennis A Class 3 Ton truck, undergoing restoration look here:

I believe we all know 'Peerlessbyfar' by another name, as a contributor to this forum.

Even better, no doubt it will be worth the wait.

As for narrow gauge wagons, any chance of the F type well wagon? Seems to be the same as the E type drop side well wagon made by Parkside Dundas but without the sides, and stanchions instead. There's a photograph of it here

The problem is the expense!! but as you know thier quality is the best. I have modified (cut cut cut) thier E class to an F do you want some pics? I would like to put it on the list maybe as an etch with Parkside bogies.

D Fernetti, that's an Albion A10, very nice vehicle and I wish someone would make one (apparently Convoy makes one but they're impossible to get hold of)

Baldwin, yes I have an interest in the light railways, I tried to convert an E class but it didn't go too well! I used to have a 4mm 'Tin Turtle' Simplex but had to sell it unfortunately, sold it for more than I paid for it so may get another
