BTW Congrats to your ambulance. My interests are not the interwar years, but you kept the atmosphere of the 20s/30s very well. It made me remember the old Hergé comics "Tintin&Milou".

Thank You old friend! Both are interesting. Both photos seems to confirm, as well as PETER T´S images, that there were modified autoas/trucks to give service at field conditions. I remember from my youngest yeas (70's), one image from an old, little book a la "Kenneth Munson" or Ian Hogg style depicting something that I think could be a London Bus modified in tht way.
