I purchased a couple of these and was surprised that the tracks are molded in a much better material than the previous releases. The tracks are more flexible and takes glue much better than the previous releases. I was able to use these new Tracks with no problems whatsoever.
Now I'd just like to know if the Female is going to be with the early Sponsons or the later Sponsons similar to those on the Mark IV. I've seen the Female illustrated both ways on "coming release" announcements.
I'd be interested to see those announcements, locman44870. I have only seen two places where this new kit is mentioned; on the sites of Hannants and Airfix. Neither one has a picture. I know there is a company on ebay that is selling the re-issued Mark I male, and they accompany their advert with lots of info about British tanks, but their info is not from Airfix and is of a general nature.
I am not aware of any Mark I tanks that used the later female sponsons, I thought they were all either Mark III or perhaps (unlikely) a Mark II.
The ideal scenario would be for Airfix to fix all the problems with the Mark I male kit and release it with the early female sponsons and spare male sponsons. And a squadron of pigs will fly past Buckingham Palace when that happens.
As we all know, the kit really is a Mark II, so the later sponsons may make it even easier to turn it into a Mark IV. It's already wildly inaccurate, so why not!

My appologies I should have said MKIII When I said late Female. As far as the pics one was on a flyer for Shrewsbury? hobbies that came with the re-issued mk "1" males. I'll have to do some looking I believe the other was from a Squadron coming release update
