Nice work-in-progress!

Let me know what else you might need re: drawings etc. and I'll see what I can dig out.

Note: After today I won't be back online until Thursday as I'm off to see my parents for a couple of days.

Thank you Roger, i was wondering if there were any other doors to go on any where as there seems to be no crew enterance's

I've forged ahead & here's an update. i've made all the 77mm guns & fitted the sponsons (the HMG's are from Great War Miniatures).
There's some filling to do and then the the exhausts to be made & all the grilles & riveting to be done

Hi Keith, if you check out the drawing on this site it shows two circular hatches on top of the tank....

http://armor.kiev.ua/Tanks/WWI/kaizer/kaizer6.php

Babelfish translater I find works best.....

There doesnt appear to be any hatches in the sides which would be a bit odd as you need them to load the ammo and probarbly fuel, oil, tool boxes, spares etc?.... but i dont know of any better drawings and the only picture of the actual vehicle(two) as opposed to the model is a factory shot and partially built... frame, tracks, engine, sponsons..... no roof etc........ and from the end? cant remeber if its the front or back......
In the absence of evidence I would be inclined to add in a couple of hatches based on the interior details,  perhaps in the sponsons behind  the main guns adjacent to the engines? similar to the A7V or A7V/U style... in any case its likely that alterations would have ended up being made had the tanks ever been completed and become operational.......

Do you actually intend to add rivets? if so you may find Archer rivet decals usefull... they work like any other decals but are 3D......

http://www.archertransfers.com/catSurfaceDetails.html

Come to think of it I think I need to order some......

Hi,
Thanks for the link.
i thought that they were vents on the top, i have some photo's of a 1:35th scale (i think) kit & that shows vents.

I had the same thoughts on doors to the rear of the sponsons as that would seem the most lodgical place for them.

I do intend to put rivets on, i have some ordered some from tichy trains:

http://www.tichytraingroup.com/index.php?page=view_category.php&category=NBW+%26+Rivets&offset=0

& i also have some graining tools that i can use

I've just had a better look at the details that i have & i see what you mean now just behind the observation tower, for some reason i was sure that they were vents

Hi Keith, if you check out peter kempfs model of the kora kit here....

http://www.landships.freeservers.com/kwagen.htm

You'll see exactly what I was talking about for the side doors on the sponsons, yep the two circular hatches inline and behind the tower the vents are further back over the engine compartment and top rear of the sponsons.....

Might i suggest you use more rivets then is shown in either the drawing or on the Kora model, I believe this is based on the sparsly rivetted wooden model rather then any engineering reality......

I've put 2 hatches on the roof, i have marked out the rivets at 5mm gaps which is a bout 40 on each side of the roof.

Thats where i imagined they would have put in sponson doors, i started to mark those on last night smile

Hi Kieth, Looks great makes you wonder if such a vehicle would ever have been practical..... might I asked what you used for the tracks?....

Fantastic - like Ironside, I wonder what it would have been like in service, and if desperation would have forced the two prototypes to be put into action if the war had gone on a month or so longer

Hi the tracks are from a Warhammer 40k Imperial Guard Chimera.
They are the part that i'm not happy with really. I used then as i didn't have time to build them all.
