wonder if any one can help with plans for a british tank, WW1 vintage. i am thinking of modelling one at a large scale with a vierw of making it a working(RC) model. at the moment not too concerned which mark, will see what i can get. scale is not an issue either as i can measure of and redraw. thanks in advance colin
I think that there was also a program on the history channel relating to possibly and engineer in England or France who built a scale model of a British Mk ? and the footage showed him sitting on top riding it through a forest. Perhaps someone else may know more

I think that might have been Codename Tank, mentioned in the "Tanks" forum.
I'm not sure if the modeller (unfortunately not shown in the trailer) was part of the 'Friends of the Lincoln' group who also appeared in that episode (IIRC) but they might know of him. Apparently they are building a 1:1 replica Mark IV themselves - Projects - Friends of the Lincoln Tank and might be useful contacts in any event.
The "Finding the Fallen" episode 'Codename Tank' was the one I was thinking about. Maybe their production company may have some further information on who produced the model.
