Archer Surface Details applied
Permalink

I just added the rivet details and it was really easy. I am building the Airfix Mk 1 and converting it to a Mk2 supply tank. I applied the rivets and they look really good. Unfortunately I don't have any way to post pictures yet but when I do I will post them.
The carrier film is tough enough to work with but it slides off the backing paper after soaking a few seconds.

Hi, which set did you use. I've been tempted to try these but had not heard any first hand accounts from a user.

Hi Paul
I used the Surface Details #1. They are rivets of various sizes and are used for different scales. I haven't applied a coat of paint over them yet but it sure beats drilling holes and putting in rod for rivets. I seen them applied in 1/35 and they look great. Like I said they apply just like a regular wet decal and setting solutions work on them too.
