Well, Im working on my S4 (S4 is the Scottish version of the 14/15 age group at school) CDT ("Craft, Design, Technology") project of either a model Mark V or a Mark V*. Here are the unfinished schematics;
I am researching a lot of stuff to help with converting the Landships articles.
But just about everything is on hold this week because I started a new job.
I was (re)building the kitchen, and the basement. But the vacuum cleaner got injured, so I am re-building that now.
"In progress" I have a couple of Char BI bis, 3 Renault FT and a Mark IV. And 3 Model T Fords, a 13-pdr (thanks to Mr Brennan Tate!), a Whippet Medium A and a steam lorry. And a generic ruined street scene (like the Bigg Market on a Sunday morning). And some trench raiders.
So I think what I am really building is a long list of unfinished projects!
Wow all that sounds really cool. Hughbearson those drawings look really good. PDA ,you've got as many projects as I have going! I'm glad I 'm not the only one to have so many irons in the fire. Plastikk I know what you mean I'm fighting the male version. Ian P. that sounds great maybe you could post some in progress photos when you start the build. Some day I would like to do Revenge, a Mk IV female at 3rd Gaza. I have a picture of it loaded with supplies in the Osprey book The Mk IV Tank. I look forward to all of your models when you post them,
Well let me think,there was something the last 2 years .... Oh yes,my Cambrai-dio. Last Sunday there was a meeting for 1/72-figurefans at Kampen. I took some pictures of my dio.
They shall grow not old,as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them,nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning. We will remember them.
Currently working on a small diorama with very heavily converted figures in 1/35, the figures all started out as WW2 and are now Great War. I will post pictures soon before I start painting. I'm also working on another dio for my Lanchester(converted Armo 1/35) and hope to finally step back in time and start my Airfix Male, built it when it first came out but hopefully my skills have improved since then

I am also working on two small 1/35 diorama's involving a bit of figure conversion.
One of which is based around the coloured drawing on pp 62 - 63 of the Osprey "Cambrai 1917 " book involving the crippling of Bandit II.
The other involves an ANZAC day ceremony in any country town in Australia in 1995 to commemorate the 90 anniversary of the Gallipoli landings.
I have managed (so far) to use mostly WW1 figures that are currently on the market - Model Cellar, ICM, Firestorm and some lovely figures from MasterClub, but no doubt will have to resort to converting WW2 figures as the project progresses.
Paul, I would love to see your photos as you progress
me too: unfinished kits and a full brain compartment with plans and projects. From 1/72 up till a 'free scale' Mark I. That one I started for the 3th time... Oh, and kits still in their boxes..I try to be disciplined and stay with the ww1 items, though I must confess: I lost that fight. My nearest and dearest don't help me there either, after they found the niche. Instead of the obligatory after shave, cd's and latest 'novel one has to read' they made a new hobby out of it themselves, proudly coming up with Russian tanks, bombers and Opel Blitzes. They never asked if I use that after shave but always want to know how much progress I make with 'the bomber we gave you'.
I know where you comming from. I am very blessed with a wife that supports my hobby and she frequently ask what I am working on. I know I bore her talking about my projects but she always listens and encourages me to go to the local hobby shops. She even has gone to a couple of contest with me. I can't ask for a better wife. And My project list continues to grow. I am inspired by all the knowledgable and super model builders on this forum. Your works and knowledge of everything on the Great War is amazing. Thank you all.
I'm working now on a Büssing A5P, Jeffery Quad ammo truck, Mk 1 wireless, Mk 5*, Austin 2nd series and A7V Hedi. They've all been built and are in the paint process now. Latest addition to the collection of models still to be built is AMC's Renault Mgebrov which is an absolutely beautiful model; crisp resin, no holes or flash whatsoever.
Me, at long last I have started and finished painting the Dennis and the Austin A/C,so I am now building a small diorama to show them off,it will (of course) have a length of narrow gauge railway track. Will give an update (next year !!!!!)
Two Airfix Mk II's, a Male, to be 'Lusitania', and a Female, probably with the camouflaged Mk I sponsons and fitted with Lewis guns. Also have various metal kits but haven't bought a decent glue yet to do those, metal kits i've part-started are;
Matador Models 6 inch Howitzer Matador Models AEC Y type BK Modelcraft 20hp Simplex
15mm 60 pounder field gun x2 15mm Gun Carrier Mk I
Lots of pottering at the moment - just completed the Airfix female. Its not up to the standard of many of the contributors but the main thing was that I enjoyed painting it.
Still wonder why Airfix couls not be bothered to include the one small roof piece which would have making a mk1 so much easier!
My next project is like several others a mkII female but I would like to attempt a hydrid using a combination of Emhar with Airfix female bits.
As Baldwin said both Airfix and Emhar from the spares box were used. Just put on a helmet on one . Was going to stick the semaphore on the roof but it did not look right.
I like it. You did a good job on the painting and building RCD. You will have to show us more of your work. I agree it would have been nice for Airfix to include a different roof.
