Matador Models 1/76 AEC Y Type 3 ton Lorry, completed!

Finally completed the Matador Models AEC Y Type 3 ton Lorry. Switched over to Loctite Control superglue halfway through and what a difference it made - lots of blobs on this one from the glue I originally used, and excess glue in the cargo bed prompted me to make the load in the back (although i'm glad I did)

I left the headlights, lamps etc off as on photos of these vehicles in service they're often missing, and I wanted this to look very well used. As well as that, the extras supplied like lamps, horn, tools etc looked very clunky and I felt less would be more. I want to buy another of these at some point and see how that one goes, now i've got this one under my belt i'm hoping the improvement will be vast, especially with much less messy glue

Looking good Rob, nice and muddy!
In case you're looking for markings, I do have those in my range, including the AEC logo and a license plate.

Michel.
