I was just wondering if anyone on the form had accquired an A7V from FSF. I would be very interested in pics of the completed model, and info pertaining to the kit, especially in how it is compared to the Emhar kit (Which by the way completly disappeared from the internet two weeks ago! I can't find more anywhere) so if any one has one please show and tell!!

But hey, I have an interesting from scratch modeling question: Anybody know what MG wagons for German Cavalry looked like? Also while my Wife works on 3 Erhardt armored cars, (She normally build 1:24 scale Muscle cars, But she doesen't have any right now, got bored and wandered into living room where the "Daimler factory" is located) I have another question about wagons, what color are the wheels for wagons, field kitchens, Field Artillery cannons, Field bakeries, Foot artillery howitzers like the 15cm from Finescalefactory.

I have another question about wagons, what color are the wheels for wagons, field kitchens, Field Artillery cannons, Field bakeries, Foot artillery howitzers like the 15cm from Finescalefactory.
Well I guess the question to ask is are they wood, steel, or steel rimmed wood?
Also, has anyone ever seen the MG wagons used by the cavalry?

The wheels were mostly wooden with steel rim and hub. Some of the wheels for heavier vehicles had steel supports where the spokes are inserted in the felloes. Attached image is from a Rohrhinterwagen - the wheels are original.
But on my Cavalry question, was that a standard field wagon they used to carry MG's or something different altogether?
P.S would like to gain info on modeling German searchlights and motorcycles post haste
