On this one I did the roof mods and because the Airfix subject needed it, for once I scratch-built the anti-grenade mesh. Ok my mesh is probably not thin enough but I used what I had on hand....
Airfix 1/76 Female Mk1

The tracks seemed of better quality than usual (less "flash") but I had trouble with the rear wheel extension. I just could not manage to fix them correctly to the tank...this forced me into a mini-diorama which was not my initial idea.

I think it's a very nice kit, and JC's model is excellent. Assuming the Male version is still available, why don't Airfix drop it and just market this one as a "Male/Female"?

I couldn't agree more with you on the fixing of the tail - its a fiddley, impracticle nightmare.
