Sponson Correction 4
Permalink

I have added  .010x.020(.254x.508mm) strip styrene to the bottom of the gun turret opening and a disc of plastic for the Lewis gun. I have finished the turret with the addition of the plastic on the turret roof. What took so long was not making the correction but trying to figure out what to do to correct the parts.

Thank you very much. I really appreciate the kind remarks. This is not at all difficult. The hardest part was trying to determine the diminsions with a lack of good scale drawings of the Mk IV Male tank. The Landships Mk IV Walkaround is indispensable in making the necessary corrections. The Belgium Museum Mk IV tank Loadstar is the best one to use but the A.P.G. one is good for some details. I am hoping to do this in article form at a later date but first I have to make it before I can write about it. Stay tuned to this channel as I have a little more to do and then I will tackle the right side. I would recommend The Tank Museum Plans Pack as the have a nice drawing of the Mk IV Male and Female.
