It seems we are not to be treated to a reissue of the FT book, but this all-encompassing volume from SZ is in the pipeline. Due in November.

Brilliant - will this be the first book in English focusing on French WW1 Tanks?

Nope - the AJ Press book on the Schneider and St Chamond published in 2008 in Polish/English would seem to have precedence. This book is a pretty comprehensive study of the two earliest french tanks.

Regards,

Charlie

Unless you count the old Profile Publications, but they're about 40 years old now and the info is very outdated.

The FT Fascine Carrier and Bridgelayer were post-war experiments.
