The kit for the British H/D ambulance is almost ready I am waiting for the etch details.I am now trying to sort out details for the tranfer set, apart from the Red Cross roundels does anyone know of any other markings that can also be included? ie unit markings etc.
In the photos of it, on W^D's site, the kit looks great. It's a 'first' isn't it? There are no other kits of a British horse drawn ambulance. So that's fantastic.
I can't help with markings, sorry, all I've seen are YMCA or Salvation Army or somesuch. And they were on motor ambulances (if it was an ambulance! Could have been a tent! I'm easily confused).
Lovely model Could it be used by the Salvation Army? Would like to make one for my dio,in the quiet corner.
Being a Salvationist myself,I'm interested lately in the work the Army did in the Great War. Every help is welcome!
greetings,Hans.

Were such ambulances utilized by central powers as well?
