Right Sponson Correction #1
Permalink

I will start this series of post with as much in progress photos as I can. We will start with the right sponson and cutting the angle. So here we go....
In the first photo I determined the angle to be 83 degrees according to the Tank Museum drawings. I marked a line along the protractor with a Prisimicolor Silver pencil so it would stand out better against the dark gray plastic. A regular lend pencil will do just as well too.
In the second photo I cut the angle with a razor saw and stopped where I drew the verticle line on the side of the sponson.
In the third photo I cut the verticle line taking care not to cut into the angle. It looks pretty bad right now but we will clean it up and it will look much better.
If anybody has any suggestions or better measurments please let me know as I want this to be user friendly as well as accurate.
