Now, somewhere in the Airfix Magazine 1960s archive is an article on converting the Wagon Train wagon into the British G.S. Why I have suddenly remembered this, I have no idea.
Any volunteers?

WD Models are bringing out a model of the British GS Wagon in a few months or so - i've just had a look at the Airfix wagon, and having been up close and personal (and sat on the driver's seat of, blimey it's high!) with a WW1 GS Wagon they couldn't be any more different
The airfix wagon train wagon isn´t that bad...but as has been said the seat is a bit too high...scalpel work if you ask me http://paulsbods.blogspot.com/2010/11/airfix-wagon-train.html

NO!! Don´t ask... Hat bring out thier stuff when it comes out....there seems to be a parallel universe there when it comes to announced release dates and the real ones. They seem to overstretch themselves with thier production lines...pity cos some of it is ok.
More testshots (pre-production) are posted here now: http://bunkermeister.blogspot.com/2011/01/wwi-hat-german-wagons.html http://www.hat.com/Curr3/Bx8260GW/Bx8260WWI.html
Judging from the sprues, this appears to be a good renddition of the German Baggage Wagon 02. ( It is not the light field wagon 95 which was slightly larger.) The only inaccuracies I see are the driver seat hand-rails which need to be re-shaped.
