Here are the Mack AC pictures. They are a little darker then the model so I will need to work on lighting some more. I also have a photo of it loaded with a unfinished Hat
Renault FT. The Mack needs some more weathering on it.

Fantastic! About the extra weathering, don't over do it! It looks fine as it is (though i'd put some mud on the wheels).

Thank you all for the kind remarks. I agree about the mud on the wheels. I want to add this using pigments and building up a little on the wheels and under the bed. I made a couple of changes to the FT turret. I cut of the plug under the cupola hatch as the height of the cupola was too tall. I also raised the gun up closer to the top of the turret about .040. This centers the gun on the turret and now I can add strip styrene around the gun to replicate the attachment point for the mantlet. As I finish it I will post pictures of it. I will be using the article by Peter Kempf on improving the Hat Renault FT.

Good one! I built a similar kit (a modified "bowser" model) and had lots of trouble aligning the bonnet and the cab. In fact they're not aligned in my model! I also had some trouble with the part identification as well, and I recall that some of them were made perhaps from a blueprint, and not by seeing the actual item, what resulted in a strange shape (the example I recall is the instrument at the top of the radiator, wotitsname?). Also some simplification of the smaller details (like the lights or the handles oursite the cab) made some of the smaller items unnaceptable for the scale. I still have to add those fixtures and to scratchbuild some of the cargo!

Both Very nice, I really like this truck Ive got one on the go myself.... even though it comes in various versions all the box contents appears the same for the Truck, but only has instructions for one vehicle, theres at least 3 types.... not including our french pilots Bowser version...

Hi D Fernetti. You did a good job on it. Your right about the hood fit. It could be better but unless you glue I can not see how to get it any better either. Mine has the same problem.
I like the color scheme too. If you do any more post some pics.

Thanks for the comments!
The main problem with the kit for me was the absence of locating pins or surfaces that would gide you for correct alignment. As many of the parts (the bonnet, for example) is composed of a few individual parts, it's inevitable that when you try to join all the subassemblies togheter, small discrepancies arise.
Here are a few in progress shots. I also added a more complete interior (new levers, , new steering wheel, new seat), too bad that when I got a good and reliable reference for that, I already finished the kit!
Some of the parts are a bit on the heavy side. Wish I had thinned some of the cab edges before joining them! Alas, that would have done the assembly harder.
