Do plans exist for a 42cm Dicke Bertha?

Hello, my first posting here. Does anyone know of any decent drawings or plans of the German 42cm Dicke Bertha that could be used to build a 1/16 model?

Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you, Tony

My information is, that no plans exist. A few years ago some people were seaching for this plans for using in a Movie (Krupps). But they find nothing...

Thank you for the reply.  This is a shame, seems odd? Has no-one at least done some decent line drawings? Not even in a book? I can't believe no-one has tried to build a model of a 42cm??

The firm of Hecker & Goros did an excellent rendition of the beast a few years ago.  The kit is in 1/32 scale and goes for about 200 sparrows.

I seem to recall FSF may have released one in 1/72 .

Thank you, I checked Hecker & Goros and unfortunately all I could find was their Skoda 30.5 cm Mörser.

Fine Scale factory did release one, there are pics/info on the main landships site,

I know that it can be acquired on special request from imperialmodelbau, in Germany, which is owned by the original producer of FSF, Andreas Brune. However, A STRONG word of caution: I have been unable to procure some of my remaining kits from him lately, so I would therefore have to advise extreme caution when purchasing from there. other places (More reliable) places include Miniaturewerld in the Netherlands, and something I read about on fine scale modeler forum called "Axels Modelbau".

Greetings, Josh

Al!  Those are exactly the type of drawings I need.  Could I ask you please to scan at at least 600 dpi and email me the large scans? I would really appreciate it.  My email is at the bottom of my web site home page  www.kaisersbunker.com/

I look forward to hearing from you. With these, I have at least something to start with. Thank you very much. Tony

Oh, Your Tony, I visit your site all the time, I even have it bookmarked. It is an INDISPENSABLE reference for uniforms. I'll be making frequent visits there since I'll be starting on painting troops for my replica German X Korps of Hannover.

Greetings, Josh

I notice the article is from May 1975. That might help with the search; I believe there are some on ebay.

Days I got. Because right now, I got nothin.  Thank you Al. I really appreciate it. I'll even buy it off you if you don't want to scan it. I just need those drawings at high res so I can scale to 1/16.

Yes Josh, I am "that" Tony from www.kaisersbunker.com/  Thank you for the comment.
