Please get some of the WWI Hall, especially some panoramic/overview whatever they call it and some walk-through shots. I haven't been since it was refurbed. I need to update my article. If you have a wander through the trench exhibit can you confirm that it's still as it was?

You're a gent. I'll pay for a roll of film.

A "roll" of film ?? Not sure that will work in my digital camera lol.

Yes will do, but have you looked at the museum web site lately, they have some panoramic views where you can do a 360 degree view including the WW1 hall and the tench exhibit. I'll take lots of pic anyway. Also, I've not been for a while now but they had a small trench walk through at the RE museum near me in Medway, i'll check that out and if its still there get some pics of that some time for you.

Looking forward to hearing your news on the museum; I'm planning to go there the day after the On Track show in Folkestone on feb 26.
I'll be taking pic's of as much as possible in the WW-1 hall.

Any detail photographs you can get on the Holt tractor would be most appreciated, especially the engine and front wheel steering.

A "digital" camera? Why was I not told about this? How long does it take for the photos to come back?

Hi James.

Well its changed a lot since i was there last but was a very good day out. They are working on an Afghan hall to be opened in April and consequently in recent weeks 33 tanks have been moved about or out all together. The WW1 stuff is not all in one hall now. I did take some shots for you and if you pm me your email address will send what i have.

Trench experience looks the same to me, but as I say not seen it for some time.

Ian.
