Diorama Eye - deep in the hell (Westfront 1917)

Hello again,

the second diorama, I want to present is a work from the year 2005. The scene plays in the time of the horrible fights of the year 1917 at the western front. A german Pilot flys with his Albatros over the battlefields and take an Eye - deep in the hell!!!!
As you can see,I put many, many things in this scene to get some realism of this time.
All figures are converted, some dead (skeletts) reworked and a little bit scratch.
If you see some rats you saw it wright, they are made scratch with Magic Sculp.
The figures are from Ceasar,DDS,Ulf Debbler (Metal figures),Airfix and many other pieces from the spare box and a lot of Magic Sculp for figures and of course the sand bags. The plane is from Roden, upgraded with etched parts and more. The picture, on which the Albatros is fixed, is handpainted with Acrylics and Pencil. The barbed wire is etched and I got it from France (JMP).Any comments are wellcome. Thanks for watching

happy modelling
Michel

Hi@all

thanks for your comments.
Paul, this is correct. This year I will be at Heiden again but without any new diorama.
A new Master and other modelling items take a lot of time.
The plane is fixed with a piece fo a very fine thread which goes into the fuselage and in the background (picture)

regards
Michel
