The master was just in time ready for last weeks show in Folkestone. Model will be in
production the coming weeks and available from Jan Giesbers.
Also for this model I first made a drawing in Rhino 3D and then had the parts printed in 3D.
For some it comes as a shock that a modelling is no longer the old craftmanship building a model using knife plastic card and glue but I really believe this is the future way of modelling, also for me it was the only possible way to get al these @$$#@! rivets in place.
greetings

So according to this the Schneider and St Chamond SPGs must be considered "impractical" -I'm sure there are a fair number of French AFV experts who would disagree. The Birch gun couldn't be used as assault gun - unless it reversed into action.
Very nice work does anyone know if this type of the 1:35 scale?? Regards Vasek
I think Acurate Armour do one.
Veery nice work Hans. I assume Rhino £D is some form of CAd program? When you say you had the part "printed" in 3D what do you mean? I would be very interested to understand more how this process works if you can post here. Thanks Ian.
Rhino 3D is a NURBS (Non-uniform rational B-spline) modelling program. It can develop 3-D models reasonably quickly. It's used a lot by cardmodel designers because it can easily develop 2-D surfaces from 3-D shapes.
I don't think it's the wrong group, Hans. There are many vehicles on Landships that are not from WW1, but the twenties and some even from the thirties. For example, the Mark VIII, the M1917, Medium Mark B, Medium Mark C, FCM 2C, Fiat 3000, MS1, Austin-Putilov, Ford Tfc, LKII or Stridsvagn m/21, and sdkfz3.
And it really does epitomise the term, "Landship"!
You could even stretch it to 1940 with Nellie, that was very much a landship when it started out. I think Hans's model fits in here on the forum very nicely and looks like a superbly detailed one at that.

They shall grow not old,as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning. We will remember them.
I´ve got it listed since march 7, but without a proper photo yet, because Jan Giesbers still has to apply the decals... The second batch is being cast now, so I expect it back in stock in a week or so.
