Hello, I need a little help as I can't find my old flamesofwar book with the section on model base making or a decent internet article on how to make them, and I'd like to know how so I can get something under bertha so she's easier to handle, and much more atractive to photograph.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Greetings, Josh

Well, from what I remember, I guess you smear wall spackling on plasticcard or cardboard, and go from there, painting adding sand, dirt, rocks & shrubs. I guess I  just answered my own question.

Crazy how that happens. Greetings, Josh

Interesting. Its almost like small tabletop sculptures, but I'm not looking at putting Bertha behind glass. Have you seen my board? under a thread called Great news & bad... I also plan to do two more different boards, one, a border fortress (like Metz) and the second, a Kasserne (Barracks)

Greetings, Josh
