Bill Murray movie The Razors Edge had scenes of American volunteer ambulances and crews, Sorry I don't have any pic's, does anyone know how accurate these vehicles are? Am thinking of building/scratchbuilding if necessary said vehicles. Any help or replies are welcomed!!
Tankcommander, Thanks, Yes I have scoured the web and collected some pictures but I can't get them to upload in Photobucket. Also I tried to make some screen caps of The Razor's Edge ambulances but I'm doing something wrong there as well! The three ambulances in the movie are all different, that is what caught my eye. Bill Murray's appears to be a Ford model T, while the other college's ambulance is a pearl white quite inappropriate for the battlefield, I can't tell what make or model it is, Piedmont's ambulance might be french or a Mack truck converted for the mission, none of the vehicles has markings as to what they are-not that Ican spot. thank you for the help I really appreciate it.
There doesn't appear to be any 1/35 scale models of this subject or if there is, they are toy like for the wargamers. The 100 year anniversary is approaching and there isn't anyrhing significant out there for kits.
Hi Rob, Thanks 1/48 is a good starting point!! all I've seen is Roden models, I'll check out RPM.
LincolnTanker Thanks! Yes! HELP!!! I did get my avatar to show-don't know how though.
