I know that there are different widths of tracks sizes for the WW1 British tanks ie the Little wille tracks are 20"inches wide and the Mother to the MkV are 20"1/2 inches. How wide were the Whippets tracks and were they slightly different in design to the other MKs or just the same.
As far as I know the Whippet links are the same as the MarkIV etc. and the plates are 20.5" wide but the plates are 8mm (5/16"?) thick as against the 10mm (3/8"?) of the rhomboids. I suppose the difference in thickness is to do with the lower weight and higher speed of the Whippet.
