Help for Russian marking
Permalink

Hello,

I currently build a flat railway car (brand UM), the short one. I want to add some marking to represent it around 1918-1919. I plan to add an armoured car on it.

I attached the decal sheet, I  don't know which decals I can use.

Let me know the one which are possible and the one, not.

Thank you in advance

Unfortunately none of those are useful. Dates there mark 1935 and 1941, and all of the "USSR" signs were inexistent pre-1922.

Hello,

Thank you for your answer. I was afraid of that.

However, do you think that I can use some generic marking like 20T ?

All the very best

Hello Eric,

You probably can use metric markings, since metric system was in use after 1917.
I think the car you are building is pretty close to this:

There is a 3-letter railroad marking ("CEB") on the left with the 6-digit car number, which is also repeated on the right.
