Looking for info on WW I AA Gun Traveling Platform
Permalink

Hi
I'm looking for information on this Traveling Platform for a scale project, but pictures and info seem to be nonexistent,
this picture came from a WikipediA site and since I found it and started looking for more info I've had no luck.
It's described as a 12 pounder 12 cwt anti-aircraft gun converted from the QF 12 pounder 12 cwt coast defense gun
on a 2-wheel towed traveling platform (circa. 1915)
Source: scanned from "British Artillery Weapons & ammunition 1914-1918" page 57
Source: Photo from War Office Ordnance Manual, circa. 1915.
My local library does not have this book and can not seem to get it and my Internet search for the Ordnance Manual
was no more successful.
I,m hoping someone can point me in the right direction to find more info than the one picture I have, I really like the
look of this platform and would like to get enough info to make a stand off scale model of it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Rawlinson´s "The Defence of London" had pictures of a platform/"trailer gun" but I think I remember it was looking different to yours.
