I want to thank Mark (MLW) for setting me straight on some details that I had wrong on the weapons. The actual weapons that fired these casings is new to me, so regardless of how careful I am to get my research correct, there are bound to be errors. If any are spotted, please let me know so I can make the corrections. I am releasing one new casing and page every two weeks until 12 Oct when the reference section on Imperial German cartridge casings will open on my web site, one year after losing Kaiser. It will have examples of "most" of the Imperial German cartridge casings used during the Great War. So thank you all for your help and knowledge about the weapons that used these casings, it has been a real learning experience.

Mate, you're going to need a healthy supply of Brasso if you ever decide to polish up your collection of brass. Another great post / article.
