Berliner Zinnfiguren, in the Knesebeckstrasse, close to S-Bahn station Savignyplatz. They are specialised in figurines, painted and kits throughout the whole history, books and plastic kits as well. Very recommandable! As Pat said, WW1 isn't mainstream, most bookshops too are mainly focussed on third reich items.
have a nice stay there, it is a great city with lots to explore
Tks all for the information, Berliner Zinnfiguren is a little shop with lots of figures (not very much WW1) and anyway, prices of the figurines (very nice) are to expensive for me: 60 Euros upwards (figurine about 1/35 Scale) bur they are painted. The shop has some plastic models too (Roden,...) but again not very much WW1. They order and contact different suppliyers to deliver models of any manufacturer.
Found another shop to:
www.modellbaumeile.com adress is somewhere on the Karl Marx Allee, lots of plastic model kits (none WW1 exemt Airfix). Responsible person was not there for further info concerning orders of other manufactures.
Trip was OK, but like all said, it is WW2 and the wall which is topic.
