Rolls Royce AC Pattern 1920
Permalink

Goodevening,

I bought the Roden "Rolls Royce Pattern 1920" Scale 1/35 (scale 1/72 or 1/76 are becoming to small for my eyes) and I'd like to build it as the AAR2 "Sliabh na mBan" .

A few questions:

Is the grey color on the photo of the surviving/restaured vehicle in Ireland correct? Am I right that the paint is (semi) gloss or is it just for museum purpose and was the real vehicle painted "matt"?

Is there a change to become somewhere the correct decals (Black Lion?)

Any suggestions concerning things that have to be changed at the model?

Tks,

DJ

Can't help with historical info, but recommend you go for a matt finish as satin will look "gloss" when scaled down to 1/35.
