seated figures

Hello all,

I am currently in the process of building a small diorama of a section of British trench, if anyone is interested i will post some photos?

As you all well know large ammounts of the time soldiers in the trenches were just sitting around doing odd jobs etc, so i am looking for suitable figures that arent all running?

I would be grateful for any help?

Thanks

Sam

Oh the scale is 1/76 but 1/72 will also suffice!!

Without a doubt the best 'casual' figures are made by W^D Models. They make a few seated figures. There is one in the old Airfix set, and an American in the other old Airfix set, who might be convertible. I am not entirely sure, but I think IT Miniatures make some casuals as well. And there might be some WW2 figures that you could convert.

Hi there,

Also, HaT have an artillery crew in plastic that may be of use with a bit of converting:
