A7V/Mark IV Osprey Book Photos
Permalink

I've been contracted by Osprey Publishing (London) to produce a book on the German A7V and British Mark IV (male and female)- focusing on Villers-Bretonneux (1918). Ive accumulated rights to use several recent museum photos of each vehicle, as well as several scans from archives such as the NARA. In an effort to avoid showing widely seen/previously published photos of the vehicles, I wanted to see if anyone owning the rights to unpublished period originals of the tanks, or of Villers-Bretonneux, would be willing to grant me permission to use digital copies for the book? I would, of course, provide proper credit, and ask my editor to provide a copy when it comes out (slated for 2013). Thanks. Dave Higgins (Columbus, Ohio)

Good news! I guess it will be a part of "Duel" series?

I bought this book recently. It judging by the search results, everyone forgot about it. It came out in January, 2013.

The book is very detailed. For example in production section, all the companies manufacturing them are included, section about ammo has pictures and stuff like specific explosive types used in them, there are images of main gun positions of both tanks, images of view through optics.
