Squadron has released a new book titled "FT-17/M1917 WW I Tanks Walk Around" by David Doyle. I have just ordered it but I have not seen it as it is new on the Squadron site. I have purchased Mr. Doyles books before and if they are anything like his other works this should be a must have. I orded a copy through my local hobby shop Big Four Hobbies in Plainfield In.

The book is in the familer Squadron/Signal format with color paintings on the cover and back. The book is 80 pages of color photos except for 2 pictures. One of which shows a Mk IV supply tank! The book is primarily devoted to overall and detail shots of tanks in various museums around the world with a brief history of the tank. For $18.95 USD I think it is good value for the money. Interior as well as exterior photos are shown. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in the Renault FT or the M1917 tank. The book can be purchased in soft bound as well as hard bound versions. As a modeler I find this to be an indispensible work on the FT tank.I have no connection with the author. The title is "FT-17/M1917 WWI Tanks Walk Around" by David Doyle. The sofcover ISBN is 978-0-89747-636-2 and the hard bound version is 978-0-89747-642-3.
