I just saw this movie today and it is really good. The W.W. I scenes are very authentic looking as well as the uniforms. If you have not seen it it is worth watching.
We saw it yesterday, I will admit to tearing up a few times, for the humans and the horses.
I am by no means an expert on WW1 equiptment, but I think Speilberg did a great job, he spent a lot of money and got great results. I did spot two flaws in one of the seens, I doubt most people will spot them.
Its worth standing in line and paying money for.
