This is one of Barrys fantastic french infantry. due to a bad cold today i was off work so went out and bought some acrylic tamiya paint and thought i would give it a go. i have not painted a figue before and would be glad of the feed back

I think the painting looks great. You've chosen the right shades, and the high- and low-lights are bang on.
But you seem to have the same problem I have - lighting. I've noticed that people like Tom and John seem to have "light boxes" or something with great levels of light and almost no shadow. My next photos will be taken outdoors because that's the biggest and brightest source of light I have!
Yes PDA you are right, I'm really stuggling with the photography! I've had a tip on my last posting but still needs to be better, any guidance will be welcome
